Things to consider when applying and selection criteria:
- The sports federation and sports coaches make athlete selections based on applications.
- The application form is common to all Finnish Baseball Federation camping locations. The camping spots are marked on the application form in the order of preference. If there are more priority applicants than starting spots, applicants will be eliminated using technical videos. Any available spots will be offered according to the application preferences.
- Shoot two videos for the search, which are attached to the application form:
- punching video, which shows 10 complete and consecutive at-bats from the basic batting order, with the batter visible in the image at all times.
- catch + throw combination, which shows the catcher landing the ball on the ground from the palm and knuckle sides (10 consecutive executions from both sides) and then making kill throws to the catcher. The executioner must be visible in the picture at all times. - The application form must be completed in one go from start to finish.
The search for new campers is carried out by the Finnish Baseball Federation.
via an application form during May. Those who participated in the camp last year do not need to fill out an application form, but will be asked by email about their willingness to continue in the camp by the Finnish Baseball Association.
