Tanhuvaara Sports Institute operates as a training center for skating clubs affiliated with the Finnish Figure Skating Federation and the Finnish Ice Hockey Federation.
Tanhuvaara is an excellent place to hold camps, tournaments and skating schools.
In addition to the actual time on the ice, the school's facilities allow for a variety of training.

Our ice rink was completed in 1999.
The hall has a volume of 25 m000. Its freezing area is 3 x 58 m.
There are six changing rooms with washing and drying facilities. A separate lecture hall is available for joint meetings.
The grandstand has 400 seats.

Terms of use
- The effective ice time for a one-hour ice shift is 60 minutes.
- Ice care always takes 15 minutes. Ice care takes place immediately after the shift.
- The shifts are always training shifts.
- One locker room is available 30 minutes before and after ice time. If you need more locker rooms, please let us know when making your reservation.
- Skate sharpening and stick maintenance will only be done in designated areas. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the shift.

We operate as the regional training center of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association.
Tanhuvaara has good conditions for holding camps, tournaments and skating schools. In addition to being on the ice, the school's facilities allow for a variety of training.
In ice sports, the most important partners are the Finnish Ice Hockey Association and local clubs SaPKo and Savonlinna Figure Skaters.
