BICYCLE ERGOMETRY TEST 65 €/person
Do you want comprehensive feedback on your fitness level on a scale of 1–7 in relation to your gender and age group?
The test can be administered to 1–5 people simultaneously.
The test is ideal for beginners in exercise, as well as for workplace well-being days and fitness refresher courses.
Tests performed in a group are priced according to a separate offer.
What exactly is bicycle ergo all about?
The bicycle ergometer test is a safe and reliable way to assess the fitness of the heart, circulatory system, and respiratory system.
It is ideal for those of you who want to know how your heart is doing – whether you are an adult starting to exercise, a working-age fitness enthusiast, or an employee participating in a workplace wellness day.
The test involves pedaling a test bike with adjustable resistance, while monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, and the body's reaction to the load.
As a result of the test, you will receive comprehensive feedback on your fitness level on a scale of 1–7 in relation to your gender and age group.
You will also receive practical exercise instructions, such as heart rate zones and a weekly program that provides direction, making it easier to start or develop your training.
Indirect submaximal test
The indirect submaximal ergometer test is stopped when approximately 85% of maximal performance is reached. The test is therefore not performed to exhaustion.
- A safe option for almost all exercisers
- Especially suitable for exercise beginners and for assessing basic fitness
- Based on a linear relationship between heart rate and load (approximately 60–80% load range)
- Allows for assessment of maximal oxygen uptake (VO₂max) without maximal exertion
An excellent way to get a reliable picture of your condition safely and comfortably.
Indirect maximal test
The indirect maximal ergometer test is carried out on the same principle, but the test is performed until exhaustion.
- Suitable for more experienced exercisers
- Provides a slightly more accurate estimate of maximal oxygen uptake than a submaximal test
- The person being tested must not have any health risk factors.
Suitable for those who want more detailed information about their performance and develop their training in a targeted manner.
What do the test results tell us?
Each participant receives a feedback report showing their endurance fitness level and personal exercise recommendations.
You can use this information, for example, when planning an exercise program, conducting a health check, or as part of monitoring your well-being goals.
Threshold test €95/person
The threshold test gives a more accurate picture of your performance and helps you train more effectively and with greater purpose.
The test is always conducted individually so that you receive the most accurate and personal feedback possible.
What is the threshold test all about?
The threshold test is for you who want to optimize your training based on your own physiology – not guesswork.
The test measures your body's ability to tolerate stress and tells you at what point lactic acid begins to accumulate in the body.
The threshold test is used to determine personal heart rate limits for different training intensities, which makes training effective, safe, and progressive.
The threshold test can be carried out in several different ways:
- running on a treadmill or Nordic walking
- on a bicycle ergometer
- with a rowing ergometer
Who is the threshold test suitable for?
Especially suitable for you if:
- you exercise regularly and want to improve
- you train with purpose
- you are preparing for events (e.g. half marathon, marathon, triathlon)
How is the threshold test progressing?
During the test, the load is increased in stages until maximum performance is achieved.
During the exercise, lactate levels (lactic acid) are measured from your fingertip several times (approximately 6–10 samples), which helps determine how your body reacts to exercise at different intensities.
What do you get from the threshold test?
- detailed feedback report and instructions for further action
- aerobic and anaerobic threshold based on lactate variables
- personal heart rate zones (basic endurance, speed endurance and maximum endurance as well as training speeds)
- An estimate of your maximum performance
