Stomach is easy and the load is moderate

At the Stress and Stomach wellness camp, you will get to know How stress affects the functioning of the stomach and intestines and learn how to relieve stomach symptoms using everyday methods. 

During the weekend break, we stop and reflect on the daily workload and examine recovery options based on your everyday life, through lectures, workshops, and exercises.  

What you will learn at the Stress and Stomach Wellness Camp

✅ You will be able to attend lectures and a workshop, during which you will learn about the effects of stress on the functioning of the stomach and intestines. 

✅ You will learn how you can influence the load in your everyday life and what you can do to help your stomach function normally and symptom-free in a busy and stressful life situation.  

✅ You will hear what impact digestion has on this equation and how you could support digestive function. 

✅ You can try exercises that calm your body and mind in a safe, guided environment. 

✅ You get to enjoy beautiful nature without the rush and pressures of everyday life.

“I am Elina Säämänen, a 42-year-old physiotherapist and trained masseuse, as well as a student of nutrition sciences (Open University). I have extensive work experience and several trainings in the field of healthcare, including as a paramedic and a physiotherapist in the cardiac department and monitoring. In my free time, I jog in the Saimaa landscape with my two dogs and train for Body Fitness competitions. 

My interest in gut health began over ten years ago with my own stomach problems and IBS diagnosis. Before the diagnosis and my own understanding of gut care, my symptoms were very diverse, at worst resembling a stomach illness, I was quite disabled at times while struggling with the symptoms, I wasn't even always able to work! 

After my stomach calmed down, I understood the connection between the health of my stomach and intestines and allergy symptoms, stamina, sleep quality, mood, skin condition. Actually, to the quality of life in general. “
