Welcome to Tanhuvaara For the Senior Dance Instruction 2 basic course, where you can advance your skills as a senior dance instructor.

This training is aimed at those who have completed the Senior Dance Instruction 1 basic course. After the course, you are ready to develop your skills with further training and, if you wish, you can participate in trainer training, where you will be equipped to train new senior dance instructors yourself.

You can also join the course just for the joy of dancing! If you want to learn to dance without instructor training, you can participate as a dancer at a lower price.

Training content

In the course you will learn:

• To dance and direct 8 dances in a senior dance advanced course.
• Information about senior dance in Finland and its importance for well-being.
• On the connections between aging and exercise: You will gain valuable information about the benefits of exercise for older people.

The course is taught by an experienced senior dance instructor. Anni-Sirkku Askola-Piispanen.

The program starts on Saturday. June 5.6th at 08:30 PM and ends on Sunday June 6.9th at 16:15 PM

Who is the course suitable for?

The course is suitable for both future instructors and participants who enjoy senior dance.
If you want to learn to dance without instructor training, you can participate as a dancer at a lower price.

Price and content

• €149 / person: Includes instructor training, a material package, accommodation in a double room with full board, and free use of the gym and spa during public hours.
• €119 / person: If you participate as a dancer without instructor training and materials.

Material package included in the instructor training:

• music on a CD or USB flash drive
• An instruction booklet containing detailed instructions for the dances.
• A dance key that supports instructional planning.
