The camp program is full of diverse exercise and experiments with different sports, so everyone is sure to find activities they enjoy.
There are various sports camps to choose from, where you can delve deeper into a specific sport or a sports camp where you can learn about a wide range of sports.
For the youngest members of the family (4–8 years old), there is day camp Mon-Wed 15.-17.6.2026, which allows for a safe and fun camping experience without staying overnight.

The camp is suitable for anyone who is passionate about exercise – the most important thing is joy and a lively camp atmosphere!

Arrival at the camp
Welcoming sports campers to the camp Sunday, June 14.6th, starting at 13:00 PM in the multi-purpose hall. Camp opens at 14:30 PM.
The camp program will be distributed upon arrival.
Camp closing party on Wednesday, June 17.6th, 14:00 PM-14:30 PM on the sports field (weather permitting), where parents are also welcome!
Leaving home after the closing ceremony approx. 14:30 p.m.

Can a child attend camp alone?
Yes, you can. The camp is designed to include everyone and the first day includes getting to know other campers. Roommates will also be arranged from other campers – you don't have to stay alone.
What should you bring?
We will send an information letter to guardians before the camp with a detailed list.
In practice, you will need to bring sportswear, weather-appropriate outdoor equipment, a change of clothes, indoor exercise shoes, a drinking bottle, a swimsuit and your own toiletries.
Bed linen and towels are included in the room rate.
Group accommodation includes your own mattress, pillow, blanket/sleeping bag, linens and towel. Possibility to rent a Tanhuvaara mattress if needed €10/person. The mattress must be reserved in advance from Tanhuvaara's sales service myynti@tanhuvaara.fi / 044 715 0400
Bring full equipment to the ice hockey camp; skates, helmet, stick, pads, gloves, etc.
Are special diets catered for?
Yes! Please let us know your diet when you register and we will make sure you get the right food for you.
We have experience with various special diets and receive a lot of positive feedback.
How are supervision and a sufficient number of instructors planned for the camp?
There are two instructors in a camp group, and there can be three instructors in a day camp for younger children.
The entire camp employs approximately 50 instructors, four teachers, and other Tanhuvaara staff.
What is group accommodation like and how many campers can fit in one group accommodation space?
The group accommodation facilities accommodate approximately 200 children. The facilities are divided into groups of approximately 10–30 people, depending on the age of the children. Each group accommodation also has a camp director who ensures silence between 22.00 p.m. and 07.00 a.m. and wakes the children for morning activities if necessary.
Classrooms serve as group accommodation, where students sleep on mattresses on the floor.
How is silence and night surveillance ensured at the camp?
The overnight campers move around with the instructors until dinner, after which they move to their own accommodation for evening activities. The instructors supervise the evening activities by going around the accommodation buildings. In addition, night supervisors roam the area from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
The group accommodation supervisors and night supervisors are adults. One teacher is also permanently staying at the camp.
If I register now, can I cancel my participation if there is an obstacle or my child becomes ill?
Participation can be cancelled according to our cancellation terms:
