The East Savo Education Association Samiedu and Tanhuvaara Sports Institute have signed a partnership agreement to promote and deepen cooperation and strengthen the vitality of the region. With the agreement, Samiedu and Tanhuvaara Sports Institute will engage in development cooperation to strengthen both their competitiveness, strategic and operational goals, and the competence and well-being of their students.
The cooperation is carried out in a diverse and comprehensive manner in several different functions and services. The partnership strengthens, for example, educational cooperation in the fields of well-being and physical activity, as well as in the field of information and communication technology (e-sports), in the utilization and development of learning environments, in development project cooperation, in internationality, in entrepreneurship education, and in the joint utilization of personnel expertise.
The head of the Samiedu Municipal Federation, principal Jukka Mustonen, and the CEO of Tanhuvaara Sports School, principal Mika Tuononen, emphasize the importance of the agreement for the future of both educational institutions.
"This partnership is a significant step forward in the operations of both Samiedu and Tanhuvaara. Our collaboration opens up new opportunities for students, staff and partners and further strengthens the position of both parties in the fields of education, well-being and sports. Together we are more," they state.
The content and implementation of the partnership are regularly evaluated and developed to ensure that the cooperation remains up-to-date and meets the needs and goals of both parties.
