Getting to know each other and team building
Tanhuvaara offers a great environment for 7th graders to get to know each other and strengthen their team spirit. The purpose of the GroupingCamp is to help students get to know each other, build trust and learn
to work together as a team.
Diverse activities – Exercise, adventure and togetherness
During the Group Camp, there will be a variety of activities that offer the opportunity to meet new friends and develop cooperation skills. The program includes both outdoor and indoor tasks, such as various cooperative games and team spirit exercises.
The Group Camp is crowned by delicious meals from Tanhuvaara's own kitchen, encouraging instructors, and extensive opportunities for spending free time outside the program.

Two-day Group Camp

Comfortable accommodations within walking distance of activities
Tanhuvaara accommodation facilities provide a comfortable and safe environment.
The rooms are for 2–4 people, each with its own toilet and shower.
Accommodation options
All rooms have shower/toilet & linen and towels.
Round Tower
Double rooms with extra beds for three or four people.
Living area with kitchen both upstairs and downstairs.
The rooms have been renovated during 2020.
Hotel Kaartila
36 x 2-person rooms. A chair bed for a third person.
Two rooms can be connected with a connecting door.
The rooms have kitchenettes, shower & toilet and drying cabinets.
Terraced house
17 rooms with kitchenettes, including 5 double apartments with shared intermediate kitchen & shower/toilet facilities.
Access to rooms from outside.
The rooms have been renovated during 2021.
Food is one of Tanhuvaara's absolute strengths
Tanhuvaara's kitchen is known for its delicious and nutritious food, which is carefully prepared from domestic ingredients.
Meals are served from a buffet, with options for different tastes and diets.
