Welcome to the first snow track!
Tanhuvaara's popular first snow trail offers skiers the opportunity to start the season early, before other trails open.
Thanks to its profile and lighting, the track is ideal for both competitive and recreational skiers, as well as beginner skiers.
Here you can ski in good conditions and without rushing!

The track is currently 2,0 km long (round trip) and in good skiing condition. Not every part of the traditional track has been skied. The real-time maintenance status of the track can be found at savonlinna.sometec.fi
Opening hours and prices
You can ski either with a one-time fee or purchase a season pass, which gives you the freedom to use the slopes as much as you want.
Season tickets are available for sale at Tanhuvaara reception or in our online store.
Services for skiers
There is a warm rest hut next to the starting point of the track, where you can comfortably change your equipment.
Tanhuvaara reception, a short walk away, offers café services and Restaurant Espilä serves lunch and dinner daily.
After skiing, you can also relax in the Sport Spa.
