Tanhuvaara is located just a 15-minute drive from the center of Savonlinna.
Its courtyard, beaches and surrounding forests offer comfortable recreational spaces in nature.
For more demanding enthusiasts, there are facilities such as a full-sized sports field, a grass field, tennis and beach volleyball courts.
Tanhuvaara offers several outdoor trails in the middle of beautiful nature that can be used in summer and winter. You can paddle, swim and fish on the lake.

Turf field
The grass field is 45 x 90 m in size and is located next to the sports field, by the lake.
Tennis courts
Tanhuvaara has two tennis courts, located near the main building next to the football hall.
The fields are surfaced with easy-to-maintain artificial sand turf, so the fields are in playable condition right from spring and for a long time into autumn.
Beach volleyball court
Tanhuvaara beach volleyball court is located next to the camping area/first snow trail.
Mini golf course
Tanhuvaara also has a 9-hole minigolf course, where it's nice to have minigolf championships with your family or group of friends.
Beaches
The child-friendly beach is located right next to the Tanhuvaara Sport Resort services and only 15 minutes from the center of Savonlinna.
The beaches are free for our customers to use without charge.
Our second beach is located next to the camping area and is also suitable for the youngest members of the family.
There is another beach with piers near the beach sauna.
You can also rent SUP boards and boats from the reception.
Purnu Mountain
In the summer, there are jogging and outdoor trails, such as the Purnu stairs, as well as various paths for trail running, for example.
In winter, there are ski trails and a downhill skiing area on Purnu Mountain, which is illuminated until 21.00:XNUMX PM.
Beach pavilion
An atmospheric covered glass-walled stage for dancing and gymnastics in a lakeside setting.
